Con estudios universitarios en Historia, Economía, Educación y Comunicación, Alicia acumula más de 20 años de experiencia en docencia y gestión, tanto en el ámbito escolar como universitario. The Lady Elizabeth School

El colegio The Lady Elizabeth School fue fundado el 14 de septiembre de 1987, en dos chalets adyacentes en Parque Esplendido, Jávea, con tan solo 14 alumnos. Actualmente el alumnado está formado por aproximadamente un 35% de alumnos españoles, 30% británicos y el resto pertenece a más de 50 nacionalidades.

Alan has led and taught in schools in both the UK and in Spain for over 25 years. He was a founding member of, ´Project Faraday´ which led the design of innovative learning spaces in science education and formed part of the UK´s Building Schools For The Future initiative.

AMANDA HUGHES
School Principal

Amanda has taught and led in British schools in Spain for 20 years, sending students to study undergraduate and postgraduate degrees across the world. She is a Lead Inspector for British schools in Spain and an Executive Member of the NABSS committee

Group Head of Digital Learning

Analourdes has spent the past 17 years working in international education, digital learning, and leading teams across different industries, including the United Nations, the International Baccalaureate, and the corporate sector.

CHRIS AKIN
School Principal

Chris has been leading international schools on 4 continents for 27 years and is passionate about student agency in schools. Chris serves as co-chair for the Student Voice Committee on the International Task Force on Child Protection.

DIANA PANO
Learning Experience Designer

Diana has a varied professional trajectory, having worked for 15 years in the Marketing and Sales Departments of big multinational companies and for 13 years as an entrepreneur, co-founding and managing companies in varied sectors.

ED DICKIE
Head of Senior School

Ed has been in education for more than 20 years, focusing largely on pastoral and sixth form matters. A teacher of History and Politics he has a passion for global affairs and has travelled extensively – most notably in India and the United States. Ed has been at Claremont for 7 years.

JOSEPH CONNORS
Primary English & STEAM Teacher

Joseph has taught internationally for 5 years and specialises in intercultural education and the developent of bilingualism. He is a certified International Baccalaureate educator and is passionate about providing a safe and secure learning environment for all students.

KENIA ARRIAZA
Therapeutic Education

She trained as a Therapeutic Education teacher and specialized in Early Years Education where she has been working as a Spanish teacher for the last 20 years. As a specialist teacher for children with learning difficulties she has designed a support plan for working with children with specific needs for Educational support.

LISA BROWN
Global Head of Safeguarding

Lisa has extensive experience in educational management including being a Headteacher. Due to her previous career as a Police Officer she is passionate about child safety chosing to specialise in safeguarding in educational settings, hence her role as Head of Safeguarding at ISP.

MIGUEL ASENSIO
Head of Innovation

Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Certified Trainer and specialized in internet security and safeguarding for students and schools. In the last 10 years he has directed and advised the implementation of technology in numerous schools in Spain.

NATALIA CÁCERES
School Principal

Natalia has worked in education for more than 20 years, with a particular focus in student wellbeing and leadership. She trained in the UK and worked in El Salvador as an IB English and TOK teacher and served as Head of Secondary before moving to Spain and joining International School Andalucia as Headteacher.

NICK CAMPBELL
ISP Group Head of Directors of Learning

Nick trained in the UK and worked as a maths teacher and leader of department in the state school system before moving to Spain and joining International Schools Partnership 6 years ago as the Director of Learning for the European schools. He now leads the Directors of Learning team across the 6 world regions of ISP.

RAUL RICO
Technical Director

Raúl was trained in Science at the University of Malaga and joined The British School of Málaga 6 years ago as a Science teacher. Since then, he has served as Technical Director of the Spanish section and head of the department for the subjects that give access to Spanish universities.

SANTIAGO ORDEJÓN
Innovation Team Coordinator and Head of English

Santiago has taught in international schools for the last 14 years using for the last eight active methodologies in his classes. Teacher trainer for methodologies and educational technology, IB examiner and holds a postgraduate degree in Innovation, Methodologies and Evaluation.

SARAH MORAN
Head of Early Years and Key Stage 1 Coordinator

Sarah trained as a teacher in the UK, working in a variety of schools as both a teacher and a middle leader. For the last 6 years Sarah has been teaching and leading in an International school in Spain where she specialises in Early Education. She is passionate about ensuring every child has the best possible learning experience.
